This is a place to lay your head at night, so take it for what is is. We stay here when we're in town visiting family, usually 2-3 nights at a time and, being that this is Jena, we know what we're dealing with. They clean the rooms each morning, give you extra towels/coffee if wanted, and don't impede your stay. Prices are good, never used the pool but it's there, and food and gas are nearby. It's older and kinda run down but, no complaints from me.
We used the RV parking area but overall was a beautiful place looking very clean. This is our 2nd time there for a family reunion, will return next year.
Have to say. Only option in Jena and it was a pleasant stay. Greeting and staff friendly. Room was clean and they take extra steps on ensuring the bathrooms are sanitized. Very much a little diamond to find when your so far from anything. Its not too expensive. Will have some pictures once I get back and get them off the Drone. Texas Skyshots was here.
Townsman Inn in Jena, LA is a solid place to stay when I’m headed to work. The rooms are always clean, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and it’s perfect for what I need—simple, comfortable, and convenient. It’s a great overnight stop that I can count on every time. Would definitely stay again!
It was a nice room with what I needed. It was clean and smelt clean. The only thing was the cleaning liquid used was reddish and it was somewhat still visible on the vanity top, around the sink, toilet and bathtub. It just needed to have been wiped down again. The lady at the front desk was very nice and helpful. We have stayed here before and have never had any problems. I was by myself this time and I felt very safe.

This place is clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The beds were comfortable enough to sleep in which is always hit or miss so I was glad about that. We enjoyed staying here. And bring swimsuits for your kids, they have a nice clean pool!
